Not So Green, Green Smoothie


Although there are plenty of greens in this smoothie it tastes just like a chocolate milkshake!

Green smoothies provide a powerful boost of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other nutrients. Eating natural, whole foods in the most optimum form helps digestion and nutrient absorption, you will have more energy to get things done and enjoy your day.

Ingredients

1/2 cup of coconut water
1 cup of baby spinach (20g)
1 tablespoon of unsweetened coconut yoghurt
1/4 avocado
1/2 small cucumber (50g) chopped
1/2 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
1/2 large frozen banana (60g)
1 tablespoon of raw cacao powder

Method

  1. Add the spinach, water and yoghurt to a high-speed blender or nutri-bullet and blend on high until spinach is processed.
  2. Add the rest of your ingredients and blend until everything is incorporated. If it’s too thick you can add more coconut water.
