Chocolate Nut Butter Smoothie


Chocolate and nuts just work so well together it doesn't even matter which nuts you use!
We used peanut butter in this smoothie but absolutely any nut butter will work.

Note: We used Happy Mammoth Collagen Protein powder but use your own favourite.

Ingredients

1 cup of unsweetened almond milk or other plant based milk of choice
1 tablespoon of pure peanut butter or other nut butter
1 tablespoon of pure cacao
2 teaspoons of flaxseed meal
1/4 cup of unsweetened coconut yoghurt
1/2 teaspoon of coconut nectar or maple syrup
1 scoop of vanilla or chocolate protein powder (optional)
4-6 ice cubes

Method

Add everything to a blender or Nutri-Bullet and blend until smooth.

Note: The number of ice cubes you use will depend on how thick you want the smoothie.
