Chickpea Hummus


A most traditional hummus except we’re using mostly water instead of oil for blending.

Ingredients

1/3 cup of canned chickpeas, rinsed & drained well
1 small clove of garlic
1 tablespoon of tahini
1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons of water
Pinch of ground cumin
Pinch of sea salt

Method

Blitz all ingredients together using a small blender until smooth.  If you need to, add more water to get the right consistency.  Serve with your favourite veggie sticks.
