Herb & Citrus Lamb Steak


Citrus and mint were made to go with lamb. We love dried mint for this dish for its intensity of flavour but fresh mint will also work.

Note: Cooking time will depend entirely on the thickness of the lamb.

Ingredients

125 grams of lean lamb rump steak
2 teaspoons of fresh lemon, lime or orange juice
1 teaspoon of extra virgin or other oil of choice
1/4 teaspoon of dried mint

Method

  1. Place the lamb steak in a flat dish or lock seal bag.
  2. Mix all of the marinade ingredients together and add to the lamb. Marinate for a minimum of 15 minutes or up to 8 hours.
  3. Heat a pan or bbq to medium high and cook the lamb until done to your liking.
  4. Serve with your favourite sides.
