'Soy' & Ginger Salmon


A simple marinade that teams beautifully with fresh ocean-caught salmon. Choose from any of salad or vegetable sides for a quick and easy meal.

Tip: If you are meal prepping you can marinate for up to 1 day.

Ingredients

125 grams of ocean caught salmon, skin off
2 teaspoons of coconut aminos or wheat free tamari
1/4 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
1 good pinch garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon of grated fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon of pure honey
1/4 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil

Method

  1. Place the salmon in a lock seal bag or shallow dish.
  2. Mix all of the remaining ingredients in a small bowl and add to the salmon, coating well.
  3. Marinate for a minimum of 15 minutes while you prepare one of your favourite sides.
  4. Heat a pan or bbq to medium high heat and cook the salmon on both sides until done to your liking. Approx. 8 minutes.
  5. Serve with a side of salad or vegetables of choice.
